From the port of Limon, we drove to the Rios Troicales Lodge near the village of Cairo about 30 miles northwest of Limon for white water rafting.
Although it was lightly raining and I was shooting through a rain-spattered window, I did get a few, mostly fuzzy, photos along the way.

Our guide tells us production and distribution of bananas provide most of the incomes in Costa Rica.
While growing, the banana bunches are housed in blue bags to protect them from insects etc.
One banana in the bunch is left outside the bag.
